E te Atua o te ao katoa, God of all creation,
As Matariki rises in our skies, we pause to remember, to give thanks, and to look forward.

We remember those who have gone before us, our tūpuna, our loved ones,
And those who have shaped our journeys in mercy and aroha.
May their memory be a blessing.
Whakamoe atu mātou ki a rātou kua wheturangitia.

We give thanks for the fruits of the earth and sea, for kai shared and whenua nourished.
For community, for whānau, for the breath of a new season.
Ko koe te kaihomai o ngā mea katoa – thank you, Creator, for all your gifts.

We look forward with hope, guided by the stars and grounded in Papatūānuku.
Help us to sow peace where there is conflict, aroha where there is fear,
And justice where there is need.

As Matariki calls us to renewal, may we walk gently on this earth,
with eyes lifted to the heavens and hearts open to each other.

E te Atua o ngā whetū,
Bless this season of Matariki.
Āmene.
